Garrigues is an international firm with nearly eighty years’ experience in business law. It entered Latin America four decades ago and, since then, the region has been an important part of the firm’s strategy and now constitutes the cornerstone of Garrigues’ international expansion process. Since Garrigues began this new phase with the roll-out of its Latin American practice, it has become the European law firm with the largest geographical own network in Latin America. It has also been the first to commit to the progressive opening of its office network staffed with local teams who share the same business culture. The firm has gone beyond all expectations and has built a strong team that is leading some of the most relevant deals in the region. Garrigues currently has more than 200 professionals in Latin America, distributed among its five offices: Bogotá, Lima, Mexico City, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo. It also has own offices in Spain (in twenty cities), Portugal, the US, the UK, Belgium, Poland, Morocco and China (Beijing and Shanghai). Garrigues’ goal is to keep expanding and consolidating its presence in Latin America and worldwide.
